"The Caipiroska" really is an adaptation of Brazil’s unofficial national cocktail: the Caipirinha, which apparently roughly translates to something like “little peasant”. Although it may be the drink of choice for the man in the street back in Brazil – the Caipirinha and its newborn ‘sister’ the Caipiroska, are about as cool as they come on the ‘cocktail circuit’ these days
